The cottages are located on a hillside in the beautiful village of Portuairk, the most westerly settlement on the British mainland, at the western end of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.

From their elevated positions the cottages provide breath-taking views from all the windows, over to Sanna Bay to the north and westwards to the islands of Muck, Eigg, Rhum, Canna and Skye. Watch the tide ebb and flow from your living room window,

There is an abundance of wildlife in the area, which makes it an excellent base for nature lovers. Look out for golden eagles and sea eagles, red deer and pinemartens, as well as basking sharks and dolphins in the summer months.

The nearby village of Kilchoan has a well stocked shop, a hotel and restaurant, and is also the ferry terminal providing regular daily trips across to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.

the nearby Ardnamurchan Lighthouse is well worth a visit with its welcoming tea room and stunning view out to the Atlantic Ocean.
